I think they should just finish the sun deck....![]()
We think we are living on a planet that is floating around the sun. It isn't true, there is no planet and there is no sun. There isn't anything, it's just pure consciousness and nothing more.
yea...thats a good spot for the house :-)
its waterfront!

A redneck covered bridge...
But it is an excellent location for the house. I bet they can even get into the Architectural Digest!
Kaa
Here's how to do it properly:

Looks like the pilings failed right when they took the full load. Probably no inspector has looked below soil level in a few decades.
All the materials are at hand too! Knock out the endwall so you can have access to the garage.
Only engineering problem I see is that there ain't 'nough boys stannin' around lookin' at it yet....

Redneck Frank Lloyd Wright!
Quite a point load they built into that house ehYou'd think the house moving company would have looked at the route and at least checked the bridge , I wonder where this happened
, road permits , wide load permits ,etc etc.???
Or did they just think "no one will ever find out".
Oddly here in Washington some trucker took out a overpass moving IRRC a wind tunnel tube / tower that was made in Anacortes , destroyed the overpass , or at least damaged it enought to deem it un-sound so it was knocked down by the state.
The same driver hauling a similar load was stopped a month or so later again without proper hualing permits and routes/ planning. Wonder what his insurance cost now![]()
And a week or so ago some bus carrying a H/S softball team sheared the top off the bus trying to go under a bridge in then Arboretum area by U /W.

Aww, shoot. Jes' wait a minnit and some Good Ole' Boy will be past in a F-150 with about forty foot of log chain. He'll git that thang outta there in nothin' flat!
(An', he's gonna be from Alpharetta!)
Add a little landscaping and they could have this:

I like the floor plan better on the first one.
Do it right? Hardly! Them Chinese tried four times to get a house across that bridge and failed every time!
Now those Rednecks just need to move the garage door around to one end and they'd have a Toll Bridge. They could probably balance their County Budget with that.

That is one of my favorites. Back in the bad old days when they had a party they employed water nymphs to swim around and sing to entertain the guests. Any water nymphs out there?
" dang willy, i told you to put the garage doors on the end wall"
Pretty tough house, anyway.
looks like the beginnings of a covered bridge...what a novel way to "place" one
