    Welcome to the Forum!

What country are you from? I'm sure your English is far better than our foreign language skills, but what do you mean by "30 feet SY" ?

If SY means "Sailing Yacht", what other features do you want, and can you give us names of some similar boats that come close to what you are looking for?

Im from Finland, the land of Santa Clause My country is very actual next few weeks...

I mean SY like Gartside have in following link: http://www.gartsideboats.com/catsail4.php#30best . But im not sure about caff rigg... i prefer bermuda. And building time should be approx 3000-4000 hours. Gartsides 30' have 5000 hours. It could be too much time for me (5000 hours mean 5 years). We know only a little plans outside of Skandinavia and i cannot find just right for me. So, therefore i must go fishing outside on our own waters

Hi there. Wasn't Santa Claus from Norway?

Here's a fairly extensive (not complete though) list of sailing boat plans available on the web:

    http://www.duckworksmagazine.com/r/p...lingyachts.cfm

Do you have a specific building method in mind (i.e. strip planking, sheet plywood, etc...)? And what about the intended use of this boat?

Check these out for a fine selection. Many classic plans are available from Mystic Seaport Museum as well as other museum collections and design companies.

Mark Smaalders designs for modern epoxy composite building and the hours would be closer to what you want...take a look at some of his designs. I think he also has some plans for carvell. His designs are available in a few sizes and they will certainly meet your needs.

You can also consider Peterson's Schooner "Susan", here is the beginning of her construction that I am documenting photographically. LOD 28'9"

Again, it depends from what you want. For a 30', 3-4000 hours are in the low end, so you may want to look at simpler designs:

If you look for a sporty boat, you might like Dudley Dix's Mount Gay 30:

But if you want a more comfy cruiser you may want to look at the Glen-L 30

    https://www.boatdesigns.com/products.asp?dept=448

Want a saltier looking boat? Paul Fisher's Martlet 30':

And finally, one of my favourite designers: Reuel Parker's

    Presto 30'

    http://www.parker-marine.com/P30page.html

or his fantastic 28' Pilot Schooner:

Thanks again. Over here was is lot of alternatives... but i prefer carvel construction because i can build it by myself. Strip planks, epoxy etc are quite strange methods for me

Here is the email address for Bill Peterson, the son of Murry Peterson. He owns the plans for "Susan" and now runs his fathers and his design company and can answer any of your questions. He is a accomplished marine architect himself and is very knowledgable about all aspects of boatbuilding...especially building "Susan". You should get Bill Peterson to mail you the chapter on "Susan" from the "Good Boats" series by Roger Taylor or find it yourself. Search Abe's Books for "Still More Good Boats" by Roger Taylor....see chapter 9, page 55. This chapter pretty much tells Susan's story and will let you see into the advantages of such great design. Murry Peterson, Bill's father was a gifted designer and designed and built "Susan" for himself at the end of his career...in his sixties. ...thus "Susan" was the culmination of his lifetime of designing experience...and she is a jewel.

Good luck, you could not choose a better design for full keel, shallow draft, large interior for its size, easily handled, and able to handle open water and rough conditions from an owner I have talked to.

Lyle Hess Bristol Channel cutters are available in 30 or 32 feet and would seem to meet your requirements. This is the boat that the Pardey's have for their worldwide sailing.
