I've put a seal coat of epoxy on the hull of my ply boat I'm building. It has cured. I have started to sand so I can paint it. I thought I knew every dipple in it BUT, there are some small holes here and there (size of pinhead in diameter and not very deep. My question is can I just fill with thickened epoxy or do I need to sand each little hole?
Gee I sure am tired of sanding!!

I sand the whole area, splat the holes with epoxy to fill 'em, maybe if there's ripples or dents that need filling hit those as well, and sand again. No problem.
Pin holes might not need thickened epoxy. Some holes in the epoxy are caused by outgassing, some by some wee flaw in the wood.

On the other hand if the epoxy has cured a long time and had a tendency to blush...? Doubt little spots here and there would matter even then.

If you're worried about epoxy not sticking due to blush you could open the hole slightly with the end of a countersink bit or similar tool.
