Can I use gasket material from an auto parts store to replace the gaskets between my exhaust manifold and riser? If not, where can I find the right material to cut my own gasket?

Napa often has these parts. You'll need to tell them the make of the engine when you call so they can make certain it is the right one.

If they do not have it, they definitely will have gasket construction sets made of various materials. Just make sure you are using the right kind of material for an exhaust gasket!

Regardless, a Napa guy should be able to help you out.

Yes you can, make sure the holes for the water passages are identicle. Some Risers are freshwater cooled, some are not, some pass water from the manifold to the riser, some do not.
