Its a rare raised deck boat that catches my eye. That one's gotta a sweet look to her though. I'd guess she's probably a Crocker design.

Someone has an eye for color.
It's very very easy to screw up a combination of blues, but that one is quite right.

My guess is she is Sam Crocker design 270 Aunt Emma.I am looking in my copy of Sam Crockers Boats.I love his designs.

Gorgeous. That's a cool way of setting up the cockpit - creating a side deck between the bulwarks and the inner coamings. Nice place to rest your beverage

Yes, inspired color combination! Nice green bottom paint, too, and a wide white boot top to go with the sheer stake.

She may be a variant of Crocker's Aunt Emma or perhaps an Alden. He designed some raised deck boats, too.

It looks like there's a centerboard winch, while Aunt Emma is keel only. There's a well deck forward, too. His raised deck boats usually don't have those double coamings AFAIK, but that may be a later alteration? Are those three fittings along the outside of the starboard inner coaming chainplates for a mizzen?

I hope you can find someone who knows, Steven, and post more about her. More pics of details, too.

I don't see a likely (Crocker) candidate listed in The Register of Wooden Boats or a reference in WB issues. She ought to be in there if she's not.

Are those three fittings along the outside of the starboard inner coaming chainplates for a mizzen?

I think they're scuppers. They look like they are above the stbd coaming, but it's an illusion. You can see them to Port. - Norm

Ah yes. She's a sloop then?

There were two wooden masts over in the rigger's area but I only saw one mast hole on the boat. When I pick the girls up from sailing class (on my way to the boat ) I'll see what I can find out.
