Keep in mind that I am coming at this basically as a woodworker rather than as someone with direct experience with dealing with this exact situation on a boat...That said, how does this sound as an approach:

I am not sure if you are making these before or after you fit the frames. It seems like it would be a lot easier to do before. You could then scribe the lower edge pretty easily by clamping a roughly cut piece to the floor and using a pencil on a block to mark the bottom edge and then picking up the angle with a bevel gauge. Cut and tweak until you have a good fit against the planks and the floor. Then you can bend a batten to mark the top edge and figure out the bevel based on continuing how the frame will be lying against the planking.

I think the "wedges" you are refering to are called "lands".... Sounds to me like Bruce has the right idea... I've only ever made those before the planking went on, so I just cut them close, then planed them in place to fit...
Seems like we ought to see some photographs after this coming weekend so we can give you more bad advice....

    Default tick stick

Further to the ‘tick-stick’ post by JD, for anyone interested.
Before I ever thought of boats I was shown this by an old bloke when I was furnishing an old ‘liveaboard’ VW Kombi (seems about 400 years ago now, but that could be an exaggeration. Yep, definitely wasn’t more than 300 years). The method involves a larger piece of ply or whatever and a shorter stick, and the tick-stick is asymmetrical.

It is not necessary to number the ticks, and the stick can be flipped over to get into tight corners. I generally tape a piece of paper over the ply because it makes it more accurate when it comes to laying out the pattern on the final piece.
I imagine it has all been done before, but I include it here in case it is useful to somebody.

Clearly someone is not working to desired expectations...... What again was the great rush to get all that green White Oak this spring, which is by now beautifully air dried White Oak?

Here's a "jogglestick" copied from an old WB article, that does the same thing. Very useful at times.
