Cheap Epoxy?

US Composites is advertising slow hardening thin epoxy kits 2:1 (gallon of resin & 1/2 gallon hardener) for $59.00. Anyone have experience with these products?

Im using www.bateau.com marinepoxy at $66/gal, Ive been VERY happy with it, prefer it to West System.

I've used US Composites 635 Thin Epoxy with Slow Hardener on a bunch of strip kayaks. Works great every time with no surprises.
If you have questions, call them up and ask.

One of the more important issues is blush.

The slow hardener is non-blushing (good). The others are blushing (bad).

Maybe I've just had bad luck but I've used US Composites and it didn't work well for me.

I built a cheap canoe with it and the unthickned epoxy never kicked 100%. Maybe it was a bad batch but none of the batches out of those containers kicked 100%.
