Default I Need a Bigger Boat

The spring trip to the yard this year revealed that they decided to store my boat "under" another... To put this in perspective, when my boat is on the trailer, the top of the bow pulpit is a little over 10 feet high.

...from another angle. I bet he can't single-hand his boat!

Rename your boat to 'Pilot Fish' or 'Remora'.

That custom stand is pretty impressive looking. Wow, it's a long way up that ladder, huh?

As the Friendly Giant used to say, "Look up. Up. Waaaaay up."

This is an example of why they invented toolbelts; you do not want to make that climb everytime you need something.

C'dog has just informed me that all she needs is a ladder...No boat is too high to get into.

So, if they are already charging the big guy for the space, and you are merely using some of its shadow, I think you should ask for a rebate......

    Default It's just maths

The number of times a boat is taken out sailing is inversly proportional to the Lwl.

ie if you get the bigger boat, you need to orgainse 10+ people to go sailing. If you stick with your existing boat, you can sail whenever it suits YOU.

well....asian girls were not especially impressed by small boats......and american girls may think sailboats are neat, but they need to be "yacht" size to be impressive......38 foot was getting me there, and then I did a very nice job and the pay was exceptional and my cruising kitting literally exploded overnight.....so why not....I built Tana Mari....and she was impressive....ooohs and aaahs all over the place, hot and cold running maids....all the time....but she was a big boat to keep in yacht condition, and that's the way the sweet things expected to see things....and after a couple of years, my patience and a certain part of my anatomy was wearing out.....so........i disappeared for a while......and found something I had temporarily displaced.........and I really didn't care about BIG boats much after that..
