This sounds like a fun game!

Glass bulkheads - front and back
figure out and install painter 'holes'
install bulkheads and decks (do I dare do one step?)
install thwart
position and install seat
one more (thin) coat of epoxy to seal anything I may have screwed up during fairing
sand lightly
varnish
varnish
varnish
varnish
launch.

Gosh. You'd think a 13' canoe would take less than three years to build.

Only if you publish before mine. Finally getting the Owens surveyed next week. I'm afraid to read the report.

Sand and fair until total despair
Build cabinet and seat lids for flybridge
Paint flybridge
Rebuild all windows
Replace any rotted wood
Sand and fair until I can no longer function
Paint
Redo the seams on the decks
Sand ALL woodwork and refinish
Do something with the interior
Then I get to tackle the engine room

Did I mention sanding and fairing ?

This is encouraging. I thought I had some formidable tasks, but they pale in comparison!

Thinking of picking up a small generator and taking it out on the water. Drift and sand in New York harbor. Might be fun.
