Kind of you to say so. You post some music I'd never have heard otherwise. And you're quick. Wit is precious in this weary world of ours.
I ought to have specified: it was a very restrained sort of berserk frenzy. Focussed. And it worked a treat. Here's the current state-of-the-potato-patch:
The last bit is the spud annex. The fence ran just back of the last raised bed. The bottom bit is a windbreak and the upper plastic net keeps the dear deer out. It has to be high, so they won't be tempted to leap it and get tangled. The near bed has peas, garlic, shallots, and scallions planted. Most of the action is in the greenhouse right now.
The posts are in, at last. I have to screen more compost and put the new fence up. But it's such a beaut day that I think we're going to run the river.
I'm getting concerned about the Bobster. Fingers crossed.

Afternoon Chris. How's things out in the south east quadrant today?
Whatever works Bobby, whatever works. It looks like we missed a season up here, went from winter to summer. The boss put some baby sweet peas and nasturtiums outside yesterday for me to keep an eye on she's away for a spell. I though the cold night would do'm in but it didnee happen they're sway'n in the sunny breeze all happy like. Oops, I better quieten down here else I upset poor ol Lefty out there. ..
I'm not a fan of the Magic Hat #9.....
I was out moving firewood in the garage..... Re-stacking the stuff that was down low enough to be a pain in the ass to pick up.... and I kept hearing an annoying whining beeping sound..... Damned if the freakin' squirrels hadn't eaten though the insulation on the Romex and shorted out a circuit! (The beeping was Aldo's invisible fence control thingy) Good thing they didn't burn the building down! So I repaired that temporarily, and then a match fell into the burn pile out by the driveway by mistake, so I had to watch that for a bit.... Then I finished raking out the garden, planted radishes (Usually planted in late March/early April), Marigolds, Xenias (Like Zinnias, but more warrior princess), and Royal Burgundy string beans (Usually planted the first/second week of April).... Then Aldo helped me rearrange everything randomly...... Then I put a few dozen bamboo sticks in the garden to deter Aldo from helping any more.....
The rain seems to hold off until I really get involved in something outside..... Then stops again when I come in.....

Well at least they did a little work while they was thieve'nWhen I was a kid I wasn't the best mannered, we used to go raid'n gardens after supper. We'd yank up baby carrots, pick peas, pick fruit and stuff - boy oh boy some of the neighbours got right mad throw'n rocks and stuff at us, the little figures escaping over the fence in the dark. Rumour got around that one ol boy was lay'n for us with rock salt in the scatter gun if we ever came back. Our favorite garden was right accross the alley, and Italian fella (with real cute daughters) anyways his garden belonged in a book or something, everything under the sun. We never got in any trouble sneaking in and raiding his garden, I found out years later he knew what we were up to and just thought it was funny

Quick, have a drink of this Magic Elixer before Lefty shows up.

Late one night around here botebum and I tried to outdrink Skipper, but I can't remember if we did or not, but I don't think we did!![]()
Hey Glen, feelin better this afternoon, speakin of Skipper, what have you guys done with her?
Guess I am going to have to go look for that Salty guy, You should never told him about that barrel.
Well, you know how Skipper is, Bobby, a free spirit with a mouth like a front end loader!
Don't get me wrong, I love Skipper, but she's a handfull when she plugs into that Tequila barrel siphon hose we rigged up.
I do hope she's okay! Might have to PM her.
