I guess my speeling and punkchooation finally drove the Skiff guy crazy. Sorry guy, sometimes I am not even sure what I write is real words. Seem there is not as much going on in my head as there should be. All this doctoring is not what it is cracked up to be.

No worries, Bobster. I was drove crazy a long time back— so far out, it'd take you two tanks of gas to even get within sight. And I don't sweat spelling unless it's someone who annoys me otherwise. I took the Wolf Goddess to town for dinner at an Indian place: tandoori mixed grill and lamb korma and that stuff. Nice leftovers, too.

But they don't serve wine, so I'd better have a glass to get my humours back into balance. If there's any Ridge Zinfandel open I'll better finish it off so it doesn't go bad. That '06 Caboose looks good.

We hear ya. There's a cat wandering around here that's just had some vetnairification. Stoned out of his tiny brain, couldn't spell to save himself.

We'll have to keep him inside the house for 10 days.....which will be fine with him, until he works out that's what we want. Then it'll be a struggle.

Ours doesn't wander: he flops over on his back and zonks out.

Man, I would give a lot to be able to sleep like that. Oh well , I guess this sleep thing is way over rated. I think I smell some coffee brewing.

Nothing like the tender, thoughtful lyrics of Jimmy Buffet to get her in the mood, eh Bobby? Why didn't you just say (In your best Scottish brogue) "Brrrace yerrrself dearrrrr!"

Hi BobbyT, How are you doing?
I was just passing by and thought I might catch up with you here.
Have you been practicing your dancing?
That Texan's not around so you don't have to be shy.

That Chip guy is not here either so I'll sample that nice bottle of Irish sitting up there.

    Hi Mr left,
Ice climbing in the alps this time of year.
I see nothing has changed outside the pub which is sad and nothing has changed inside which is good. I don't get by here very often anymore. Too much garbage outside the door dumped by a few of the same people so it's not very inviting, Yuck!
But this place is an oasis.
You guys take care, maybe I'll stop by again and get Bobby up on the floor again. Say hi to him for me.

    Have fun, be good!

I am trying to draw a pattern for the riser on this bow. I just can't make it look right. Maybe another shot of something will clear things up.

You're always a breath of fresh air in this dusty old joint Sophie!
Yes Bobby.... Mel Tillis.... He had a song called "Who's Julie?" or something like that.....
Today we have PEI mussels (Fresh, not frozen) in a wonderfully fragrant stewed tomato ragout with scallions and garlic. Served over fine fettuccine, with crusty garlic bread.
Hot French dip roast beast sandwich, served with hand cut fried potato chips, and a small side salad.
Chili con carne, Chuck style, with no beans, and plenty of Ancho and poblano chili peppers.
Boneless chicken breast seared in olive oil, then sauteed in stock, with sliced mushrooms, onions, and celery root. Served with steamed broccoli over broad egg noodles.
Baked ham and swiss on lightly toasted rye with onion rings and a pickle.
    Special on tap: Labatt's 50

Yes it would. It is about 18inches long and tapers from a feather edge toward the center. Then rounded and shaped for a hand grip and arrow rest.

No it would be just a little to soft. The only good part of this bow build, is its kinda like building a model car or plane. Mostly just smear on epoxy and clamp it to a form and a little rasp and file work. Something I can do right now.

I got off to the barn.... Trying to get back into the swing of things, but this tube in my arm keeps reminding me to slow down. I don't think getting that snagged on a whirring saw blade would be good....
But I need to gt a piece of Walnut milled up, so I figured a piece of sock with the toe cut off, and a couple of rubber bands otter keep the tube out of harm's way for a bit....

Yeah..... Now there's this issue of the not needing glasses for most stuff, but wanting to protect my eye balls from flying debris.... I wonder if they still make plain old safety glasses that make you look like Buddy Holly....

Most construction guys are young, so they also have way-cool safety glasses that make you look like Bono. Just check the local hardware shoppe. I got the right eye fixed while the left is still 20/200 (whoosh) so I had the right lens in my old frames replaced with a plain one. I'm so accustomed to wearing specs that I might end up with two plain lenses. Without them, my eyes water with the lightest breeze.

Looks like I missed the Butterfly. P'raps I'll add a few bottles to Irish whisky shelf to bait her.

Hey Bobby, I stopped by for a quick Valentine's day Drink and you weren't there.
Do you guys know how hard it is to get here, there are some real crazies out there. I had to go past some big old fat guy yelling at a wall about WWII, hell that's 60 years ago. It was really wrong when they pushed all those poor people out onto the street without help, just to save money that should've gone to mental health programs.
Then there was the crazy guy on the street corner going on about the Church. Crazy fanatic, shadow boxing the wall!!

It reminded me of visiting Telegraph Ave. in Berkeley, all the "Acid Burnouts" shouting on the street corners. So sad.

But the funniest was the little fat guy with the moustache, he comes in here and drinks Coors, he's standing outside the Pub trying to hit on all the women that walk past, he was mumbling about fat chicks. I guess if you drink Coors it'll do strange things to your mind! Good God what woman would want a guy that drinks Coors?

Well Happy Valentine's guys. Take care and have fun, I am!

It's a shadow box to hold a WWII vets memorial flag, and some ribbons and shell casings etc. The guy bought one on-line and it started falling apart before he even got it on the wall. He wants exactly the same thing, but not falling apart. I tried to talk him into something nicer, but...... Like so many other things, this is what's in his mind's eye, so this is what he wants....
It's about as interesting as rearranging the sock drawer, but it's a job to get me back out in the barn to get ready for a real project.
