Ah - I never had the Squall - looks nice.
I've had the 120, but found it (as I recall) a little metallic tasting. That didn't stop me from drinking it, of course! The 90 Minute is luxurious....

There's nothing more expensive than a "free" boat.
We typically travel in March when the tickets are inexpensive, the tourists almost nil and the lamb is fresh. Oh, and it's Mothering Sunday, too.
We also come at Christmas, too. The last (two? three?) trips we've made have been at Christmas time so that the In-Laws could enjoy spending time with the children and grandchildren all in the same place at the same time - a rare occasion.
SWMBO used to work for private schools and had long vacations at Christmas/New Year and in March. Now she works for public schools and has her long vacation in the summer. I haven't been in the UK in the summer time since 1997 when we flew over for my BIL's wedding and house-sat for he and his wife at their house in Kew while they honeymooned in France.

Oh no - we're going in August this year.
Not much patience required. We usually travel off-season, 'tho. Heading out the last day of July and returning mid-August.

Here is something differenta cinnamon and clove spiced porter. Very mild in flavour with a body some were between mild and porter. The spices work well.

Looks like an interesting winter brew. Here's another good standby:

You never did say if you liked Tequila or not. If you do I can make a margarita that will knock your sox off.
I said that I had never tried it and asked what it tasted like. Then some one came in and started #rs#ng about, so I never got a straight answer.

I dont think I can describe the taste. I really like it, Maybe some one can tell you more about it. Oh, ya it seems to make you act like an ass. Some call it liquid courage. That is only for the ones who over do.
This kinda tells you something. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ySdRUWYJhsk&NR=1
Li Lefty. Have you been watching Wimbledon? Didja see the colour of the grass on Henman Hill? Its been so hot and dry that the reservoirs in the Lakes are running dry?![]()

Nick, are you still with us?
Evening all, saturday night and d**n cold!. It's a good old fashioned winter here this year and not before time. Acquired a couple of bottles of Islay Malt this week on special. That'll keep the cold away. Moving on thursday and having some grief with our telco re a line so as of wednesday night I will not be nicking in till I sort an alternative, if there is one. Meantime, Cheers!
Delightfully warm here today. Unfortunately I find it somewhat uncomfortable to spend time out in the sun, due to the ravages of Doxcycline. I mowed half the lawn yesterday morning before the sun climbed high, while the trees were still casting cool shadows. Still, by the time I quit, my knees, hands and face were toasted a bright unaccustomed red. Only another 3 weeks to go with the doxy.... I may wither and blow away...

Lefty, my poor dear Lefty. Fate has dealt you a cr#p hand. All through spring moaning about wet cold rain. Now summer is here you can't enjoy it. Is the treatment for your feets working? Hopefully you can get all of the misery over this year and behind you, then have a few good ones to look forward to.

This has nothing to do with feet. This is treatment for Lyme disease (Courtesy of a teensy weensy tick).
I go to see if the new orthotic inserts make my feet any better later on this morning. Right now they feel like someone's been dropping concrete blocks on them all week.

The cause may be (probably is) nerve damage from 49 years of abuse. If the nerves are not being traumatized, the pain may (hopefully) subside. After that...... There's surgery. $$$$$ So it's pretty much out of the equation....

OK, I can see the logic of the inserts.

Here's something a little more cheerful
Lefty.....does the doxycline or whatever make you overly sensitive to the sun? I have to wear dark glasses all the time and not much in direct sunlight....something I take makes me sensitive.....feel like crap right now, nauseous and weak.....

Yeah. There are 2 kinds of tequila. The kinds you can afford which are not wonderful and the really expensive ones which are wonderful. Go for the second kind. Keep it on ice. Serve it as-is. Done. Can you tell Nick how Tequila Taste?
Lefty - on the foot stuff - make sure you don't have "Morton's Neuroma", an inflammation of one or more nerves in the foot. I have a friend in the U.K. (Nottingham) who has this, and she is not happy. I'm sure you know what you're about, but still - would be nice to know.
