Yup... me too... Yea, got that keg drained, went and remove the inner stuff.. Check the fit of the keg.. gosh it's still too big and bulky fer my yard pony..
Gotta to let sit aside fer while till I figure a'nuther use for it..
Thank fer the Corona... compared to that bitter Heineken Draught.. Corona always my favorite..

Yes it is... and it is hard to find that kind of banjo.. After diggin' around on Google, that banjo cost around $5,000..
Anyway... I got the whole tab fer Orange Blossum Special lying in front of me, as soon I get a new head and bridge fer my banjo.. I am gonna learn to play that piece..

Looks like you are making progress on it.

That's a fine lookin' duck boat there Larry...
And that electric banjo looks like a Deering crossfire...... It's like a Peavy electric bass mated with a Sears and Roebuck banjo, and that was what came out.....
I was thinking I might build another bass guitar one of these days...... But then again, I have this fine piece of Spruce that I started to build an acoustic guitar around still sitting there collecting dust......

It's warmer now, than it has been all day, and it's damp, humid, gross....... Yeah..... It's 68f, but it's a wet 68.....
It wouldn't be so bad if it was dry, and 68..... Or damp and 78...... But this mamby pamby almost warm, almost raining, almost dark..... Is almost killing me.....

That is a good-looking boat, Larry. Is that a primer coat, or is battleship grey the total color scheme?
Our friends who live close to where the Colorado fire started sent a photo—
You can see a big flamefront under that smoke: scary. They loaded their horses and fled. Despite that, their place escaped burning. They still can't go back, but at least they've got something left to go back to.
I'll have a tall G & T. Hot today, dry, and windy as the devil.
While I'm sittin here freezin my fingers off...... And yer gloating about yer nice weather....... Is NOT a good way to ensure prompt service, Mr. Fields......

That's pretty scary stuff Chip..... Glad yer friends high tailed it...... Fire isn't anything to be brave with......
G&T it is.... Tall and frosty, with a little wedge of lime.....

Chip I think that is the base coat for a camo thing on that boat. I think it is going to turn into a corn field.

What the hey is going on here, did Lefty take some happy pills er sumthin?
All things considered pretty good Bobby. Decent day out here, I got some heavy stuff moved by meself and my back is in one piece. Got buns, onions, maters, lettuce and relish, the boss is bringing ground beef home after work from the store so I'll flash up the grill and we'll have some good hang burgeys a little later.Man, I need to find my pickled hot peppers. ..
Sounds good to me. Maybe I should pickle some of my peppers this year. Allison sent this to me.

I wish we could grow peppers here way to cold unless I had a happen'n greenhouse like Chip's
Haven't seen Sophie around, hope she didn't get too worked up wrastlin pigs out there that she won't come in to say hi. ..
That Chip guy sure has that garden thing under control. I think Sophie is going to take a break maybe. She knows she is welcome in the Pub so who knows. I am a little slow responding cause everyone in Oklahoma keeps callin me.![]()

I'm a little slow because Mozilla decided that everything needed updating this evening, and despite me telling it "NO!", it continues to do what it wants......

.... And hell no, I didn't take any damn happy pills! I just didn't want Bobby to go on a cryin' jag, and get his sox all wet...... Like he did last year about this time..... Whinin about the heat, while I'm freezin my nads off.....

I wish I had it under control. The latest fun thing was spider mites. Never had 'em before, so I didn't recognize the problem until they'd buggered the pole beans. I think the strawberries and cukes will be okay, but I had to pull the beans up and replant.
Sophie was upset that Scot erased a month of her posts (one disappeared from the Pub when I was thinking about a reply). He also told her to quit going back and forth with SamF. She feels as if she's been treated unfairly. After similar troubles between Allison and Meli and a certain member, which resulted in the women being banned or told to change their behavior while the guys got off scot-free (so to speak), I'm inclined to agree. Sophie is not banned, but she is put off, and is choosing to stay away. I've taken a few self-imposed breaks myself.
Anyhow, I miss her already.

Just call Lefty................I LOVE IT!!!!
I spent 9 hours on lake Holt last thursday. Duct taped the gps antennae to a pole, dragged the sub-bottom profiler, the mag and the side scanning sonar through a tornado devastated marina and am going to follow up with a team of divers to retrace the remote sensing path on July 4-7. I have NO extra time. Summer sucks for me.
I'll have another Miss Fancy, please. That beer is probably the best I have ever tried and I work at a bier store.

The news is all about the impending "Dangerous heat" wave expected today.... There's already a "High heat warning", and people are being told to stay inside in air conditioning, and to take plenty of fluids....It's 65f..... Idiots...... It's forecast to get up into the upper 80s with high humidity...... But yanno what?..... It's friggin JUNE! It's SUPPOSED to be warm! I might even open the windows, and take the down comforter off the bed tonight.... Prolly won't retire the flannel jammies just yet though.....
