Wal*Mart doesn't sell beer or guns here either....
What Wal*Mart does sell is plastic garbage, made in China, and dry goods food type stuff that's got about a week left on the "use by" label..... And it's no less expensive than most of the other stores on 80% of the things that you buy there.... They suck you in with a great price on a 20Lb. sack of Ritz crackers and they fleece you on all the other stuff that you figure you might as well buy while you're there, considering the half mile walk you ad to do to get from the parking space to the front door, and the half mile walk you had to do to get from the front door to the Ritz crackers....
I hate them..... And unless they actually succeed in running all the local stores out of business, I'll never step foot in one again if I can possibly help it.
Never trust a man with a clean workshop.
I really don't think you will find much in the way of mom and pop stores in Tulsa. I know of one family owned lumber place and they deal in hardwoods. The only real hardware store, Burgess Hardware close a few years ago. Family all died off. They had more stuff than any could imagine. If any one ever made one he probably had one or a part for it.
Glen, Quit pig wrasslen and get over here. Herradura and Lone Star waitin for ya.![]()
All that fence building done mess up his mind, Priorities he lost his priorities.

a quad espresso please And i think a bacon, bacon, egg and pancake sandwich?
morning all! thanks for the welcome
We moved and worked and worked and worked then built a couple of boats. now we are working some more but i have more time. I get to hang out a bit and have some fun; not to mention that i am getting set up for the big boat finally. We have spent a good year deciding on what's right for us to live on and do what we want to do. Lots of arguing, drawing, fretting, hashing out ideas, looking at boats, wandering docks, taking a few hours sail &c. &c. its been fun and grueling. Now we have things figured out and the wood getting prepped, plans on the way and a place to build that wont get sold out from under us, life is good and we have a little time to breath, sail Tari on lake oosyouse (sp), build another small boat or two for funding, and get building in the fall (summer is all taken up as is most of next year.) Erica sends her regards to every one.

Does that bacon, bacon, egg and pancake sandwich come with spam?
Mate, you have been busy. You're schedule looks full.
Anyway, I'm starting the day with more of this........
We don't know how lucky we are....
Now I'm ready for some Herradura and Lone Stars and music! It's beer time Friday!
First I had to welcome back Ishmael Jack and Milo to the Greater Forum and slap bobbys upside the head on general principles and throw out a Troll alert.
It ain't easy being a responsible WBF member like me when I'd rather hang out in Lefty's Pub with you gents.
Finished that damn fence today(ooops...forgot I don't cuss)!
naa I don't do spam. nasty stuff and bad for you.
A bit more bacon might do good and maybe a bit of cheddar.
I think i will put on head phones I need some mellow today, tomorrow we have a workshop. *whew* 30 folks all burning/building stuff.

Hey 2MT you'll fit right in here we're always talkin about our projects. Sounds like you actually finish some, that's a little odd. LOL. JK, looky Glen here... Glen!! He's just finished sweat'n it out in the Texis sun for over a week building, or screwing or what ever he said.. a fence I think it was.
Lefty, Wal Mart has a very liberal return policy so you can definitely return that extinguisher. I'm betting you'll find that receipt somewhere too.
I agree it's a horrible place and I've worked there.
"show your famous Laurel and Hardy dancing video!" Dang it Glen, my sides are splittin.![]()

Hi Guys, how's everyone doing?
Cold wet and miserable. The wettest days of the year.
I think some of Chip's stash of Tyrconnell would be perfect!
How are you BobbyT? Fighting with blinds I see.
I see Bobby's drinking partner "The Texican" is back to keep an eye on him. Keep up the good work guys.
Have fun,

Cheers boys I'll join yus. A Lucky lager for me. Gareth, mwuuuuzik does indeed sooth the soul, good tune back there
In my experience, the 80s were awefull awfull windy!![]()
I'll join you in a glass, and mercy upon us all. It blew like the very devil all day, and then spat snow as the sun went down.
Last night it rained a half-inch (big storm for these parts) and the world was damp and fresh when I walked the doggo, early. The Moon Cat came along.
Usually, Ruby is out front, fossicking in the sagebrush, and the cat walks deliberately behind, dashing at intervals to catch up. He also likes to hop on the rail fence and sharpen his claws.
I do hope to have a day or two of sailing, prior to the end of the world. But at the moment, it's not looking good.
Night Salty. I expect to smell fresh cut woodchips when I awaken. Renters be damned.![]()

Cool pics Chip.
"Bundinn er bįtlaus mašur" Bound is boatless man.
Well I'll be damned.... Both Sophie and Katherine stop in to watch Glen take pogo stick lessons from Amber and Jett (Amber's black haired cousin from San Diego), and I miss it....
And I put fresh paint on the ceiling and padded the stairs just for the occasion.....
It's cold, and very windy... 30MPH out of the NNW.... They say it'll be calm by tomorrow, but cold still.....
I needed to take a breather after my day today..... Between Wal*Mart and a whining real estate agent who thinks that we should just drop the price on my father's house so it'll sell faster so she can collect a commission on it with out having to do anything.... (The photographer is really expensive! I think we ought to try to sell it with just the pictures my admin took with her phone...."), and a bunch of people who don't return phone calls, and an insane neighbor who loves the Fisher Cats "Because they look so cute!"...... I needed to go somewhere where I couldn't hurt myself, or anyone else......
So.....
Never trust a man with a clean workshop.
Thanks for the painted ceiling. Paul can admire it when he is flat on his back after I knock him over the head with the pogo stick.

Guess everybody is sleeping. I think Chris forgot to drink this Sierra Nevada Pale ale. I will take care of it for him.Gotta get some coffee started.
Sleeping? Not yet, but soon, very soon.
Saw my very first 3D movie today.......like watching TV through a window. Not sure if I'll do that again.
We don't know how lucky we are....
Hey Seanz, so the movie thing didn't agree with you?
Mornin Bobby, darn sorry I mised your offer for a cool one yesterday. I ran out for an errand and got distracted, as usual.
The coffee's smelling great this morning, don't mind if I do.

It was OK but would've been just as good without 3D. Aardman (The Pirates! Band of Misfits) animation is good because of the gags and general "looney tunes" mayhem, 3D didn't add much compared to other films and the glasses sort of got in the way.
Anyway, it had pirates in it, so it wasn't all bad.

We don't know how lucky we are....
The 3d thing kinda messes with my head, I had to keep taking the glasses off and rest my eyes.
Things are smooth here, thanks. And I was wondering about that Seanz, dude starts his mornings with Rockin in the Free world. You have to wonder what he ends the days with.
We got a 3d setup about a year ago and have yet to try it. So, some movies are better suited for it than others? I was under the impression it was primarily for gamers.

I have only seen a couple of the 3d things, How to train your dragon and Puss in boots. Yea I know, the things you do for your kids. The first one was a better experience. Guess I will have to try the pirate one.![]()
