Looks light compared with my two Stihls, but light is good 99% of the time.

When I went in the bedroom for my nap with the dog, the kitty-man was snoozing, too. His bed is on top of my dresser. I'm not mad about the arrangement, but he likes it. Penthouse suite.

A real howler of a thunderstorm rolled through about 4:30. Thunder, lightning, strong winds, horizontal rain, roof gutters brimming. Fifteen minutes and it was gone. Terrified the doggo. She's still a basket case.

Kitty's like me— long as he's not out in it, he doesn't give a damn.

How much juniper oil is in a half-pint of gin?

    It is Friday....
    And it is not raining....
But it's really too unpleasant to hang out on the back porch....
We can cook some stuff out there though...

Like a rotisserie lamb which we actually started @3 this morning so that it'd be ready by lunch....
With a nice cous-cous and orange lentil salad with crunchy bits of cucumber, red onion, and apple.
Vegetarian spring rolls (Not grilled outside) with napa cabage, marinated ginger, cellophane noodles, and other yummy stuff. Served with a sweet and slightly spicy hot dipping sauce (Most of the ingredients are either too gross to list, or are unknown in english, so I just close my eyes and go...).
We also have burgers, dogs, chicken parts, and we even found a slab of tofu in the walk-in that we can throw on the grill....
there's a pot of St. Augustine shrimp on the stove, and our signature cocktail sauce.
Roger Stouff sent a huge box of Crawdads up from Chitimacha, La. and we have those on the ring burner out back with new potatoes, corn on the cob, and about a half gallon of Tabasco sauce..... (We have plenty of fresh crusty bread for mopping...)
And finally, we have ham and cheese sandwiches with fries and pickles....
Special on tap: Alexander Keith's IPA.
And just in case the birthday girl stops in.....

In theory.... But they don't snap together with the gaskets in place. I broke one connector piece trying to get it to "snap together". I took the gaskets out, and they snap together. But they leak like a sieve.. So now I have some Lexel caulk that I'm gonna squeeze in the gasket channel to see if I can get that to do the trick... But not today. It's waaaaay too windy for me to even think about climbing a ladder, much less play with vinyl gutter on a ladder.
And it's too cold. I'd freeze my finger tips off. It's sposed to be down in the low-mid 20s tonight.... (Gotta love spring time in New England!)

This stuff I have has a piece with rubber gaskets that fit on the inside a Piece that snaps on around the out side to tighten up the gasket side. Anywho that guttering manages to shrink enough in cold weather to move two or three inches and pull apart at the seams.

You would not believe how many small parts can fall outa them thangs. After inventing some new words cause I started at the wrong end with the string, it is finished. Now it is beer thirty.

    Feel good.....
I just went to Wal*Mart for the third time in my life today because Carter wanted me to pick up a few things that we both figured would be significantly cheaper there than at a "local" store.... $130 and 2 hours later I get home to find that the fire extinguisher is flat (no pressure) and missing it's mounting bracket. AND they didn't put the receipt in the bag, so I have no way to return it.....
I despise that place with a passion. If I could, I would ban them from the face of the earth. They are a pox on humanity.

If I want to go back to that store...... I almost think it'd be worth $20 to someone to keep me away from there so someone doesn't get hurt, and I don't end up in jail.....
I hate that place so much that if I wasn't such a rational, clear thinking individual I could easily blow the bastards off the freakin' face of the earth.
Few things in life would make me happier than seeing every single Wal*Mart in the world shut down, and plowed under.

Lefty just tell me where else can you go, besides Lowes or Home Depot that has at least 15 registers with only 1 checker and at least 5 of the self serve thingys and only one of them open and the person watching them is busy picking their nose or something. Cant shop at Target, they don't sell beer or guns.
