Only barely, went to two parties........Hope everyone made it through last night.![]()
We don't know how lucky we are....
Had a ball. First party was a bunch of crazy people and guests of my in-laws. Second was a lot of musician types. Lots of instruments and singing. Sweet.
I got to be the sober driver......
We don't know how lucky we are....
Heh heh.
We do it the smart way.......I'm a good driver..........![]()

Well I hear some thunder, guess it's movin in.
Wind and rain, 50mph wind right now and rian. coming down in sheets
Take care, do you have a tornado shelter in your house
Our shelter is just out the back door. If they tell us to take cover, I'm gone. Watching the weather man right now. So far nothing severe in my area.
Weather guy just said Tulsa is now in the clear.
Good news, you can now wait for Lefty's (same old)Sunday brunch. I'm having Greek yoghurt
Greek yoghurt, with bran and metamucel for Gareth.... Anyone else want food fit for the "Öther than geriatric" crowd?.....
(Carter's computer's just as screwed as mine, but in different ways....)
I'm pleased to announce that there are 4 less squirrels sucking in valuable oxygen today.

Sammo's still sleeping on the bar, so I'll need to do brunch from this remote location..... If the computer will stop speaking German....

Please charge your glasses and raise a toast to one of my good friends, Robert, who passed over the bar this weekend at the age of 48. He was an artist and man of many talents with a kind and generous outlook. He was a proud builder of a gorgeous cedar-strip kayak and regular paddling partner of mine. He'd been sick with cancer for the past two and a half years but had been fighting it well and was undergoing a new type of chemo that seemed to be keeping his inoperable disease in check when he took a sudden turn for the worse. I talked to his wife this morning - I can't believe what a strong woman she is.
There's nothing more expensive than a "free" boat.

Pretty scary radar map. Hope the Wolf Goddess's family in Kansas City won't suffer harm, nor any of our good mates from the Pub. It's supposed to get snowy and blowy here tonight, but we seldom get the tornadoes and huge hail that wreak havoc just east of us on the edge of the plains.
We went to a dinner party in town and slept late this morning, so I missed the brunch. After that whisky, I'm ready for a nap.
I hear they have special places in hail for texans......

Some of those hail stones would make pretty good rocks for a Gin & Tonic I bet......

Have you ever been outside in hail that was quarter size or larger? Quite an experience, let me tell ya.![]()
Yes... As a matter of fact, I have.... Even hail the size of mothballs hurts. I've been nailed by golf ball sized hail. Luckily not in the head, somehow, but I had bruises on my shoulders and forearms...... Or maybe I was hit in the head and I just don't remember it..... That would help explain a few things, actually......

Daughter just brought me a new tee shirt. You know when you are loved.![]()
That's one of the reasons I don't lock the car doors....

Mr.Left, I think ya need to check and see if ya locked ChrisBen in the cellar or something.
