I use Adaware SE every week... It used to find all sorts of stuff, but in the last 8 months or so it rarely even finds tracking cookies.

Malwarebytes finds tracking cookies too (from here).![]()

Part of the problem (believe it or not) is me.......I'm not used to fault-finding with Win 7 as we've had such a good run with it. Win Me, on the other hand, I was Mr Fix-it....coz I had to be.
Got the internet chek from set to load on the other identity......nuffin.
I'll take a crack with malwarebytes.
And, the anti-virus I run is the previous version.....4 not 5......it's licensed and up-to-date.....but I wonder.
Not only but also.......disc defrag is set to run early on Wed morning......possibly about the same time SWIMPAL was fiddlin' around/doing something vital on a social network site and trying to transfer files across identities.
We don't know how lucky we are....
Came in here for a cup. Had to brew a pot myself.
Been busy with a project the last few days and going to the lake this weekend.
See you hombres Sunday afternoon.![]()
If this machine is so damn smart, why can't it tell me how to use it?
Wow............ Way too much technical talk going on in here.... The mojo almost went go-go....
Coffee's on! We also have really nice thick cut acorn smoked bacon, bagels with butter and cream cheese, eggs, and coffee cake..... Just to get us all fortified for the impending day ahead...

It's chilly, but bright this morning. No squirrels in the trap, so they're either getting smart, or they don't like peppermint candy.... I'll go back to peanut butter tonight, because I can still hear a herd of the bastards on the roof at night.
Today we have grilled ribeye steaks, seasoned properly, with sea salt and ground black pepper. The salt draws the flavor out, so don't let anyone tell you that steaks shouldn't be salted until the last second before grilling. Served with buttery baked potatoes and steamed asparagus.
Chicken breasts, with a zesty sweet and spicy marinade, grilled to perfection over hardwood charcoal. Served with pasta pesto salad, and a cucumber/tomato/ vidalia onion salad.
Boiled 11/2Lb. lobster. Served with hand cut fries, and a small side salad.
Hot vegetable soup, with fresh crusty bread and a selection of slicing cheeses.
Grilled sausage, with buttery broad beans, and mashed potatoes and gravy.
Special on tap: Watney's Red Barrel.

$30 a pound for bagels does sound a bit steep.... Even for Fla. A good bagel probably weighs close to half a pound when it's fresh......

When I was in high school I worked at a Jewish bakery, they had 3 stores plus supplied all the Stop and Slop grocery stores (thousands of bagels a day). There was nothin better than a fresh bagel right out of the oven, cept the fresh sesame sticks they made.

Murray Lender just died a week or so ago. Despite the horrible bready things they became after he sold the company to whoever bought it, Lender's bagels used to be pretty good. At least around here, where you could get them fresh.

Man I gotta go into the lox business. I get it for $2.50 a pound. Mind you I bring them the fish so there's some cost there but that's just entertainment really. I tried making my own lox and it was pretty good but I canny beat the pros in Port Hardy - Hardy Bouys smoked fish. Bring them your catch come back in a few days and for two and a half bux a pound you get a little bit of heaven.
Kind of streaky out today. Low foggy cloud then some clear air then big swirly clouds up above with a few bright spots but no blue. Sposed to be a bit sunny today don't see much sign of that yet. Good weather to have another coffee before I get going with the day. ..
Good god! Where is everybody?!

OK.... Either the forum is screwed up, or my computer's beyond screwed up.... I just got Dans post from 11:36 now at 12:13..... And before that I still had Seanz's post from 10:56 last night as the most recent post, on the main forum board.....

3 hours and ten minutes later, my discs have been defragmented (Apparently), and my total available space is something like 19GB whatever that is..... Let's see if that helps any......

I think my disc has been defragged, or somethin like that. Lone star and Mezcal please.

The new issue of WOODEN BOAT just arrived, so maybe they're all reading it. Or at least looking at the pictures. Haven't opened mine yet saving it for a couple hours when I'm not busy.
We had a touch of snow this morning, that was gone by 10. Hope I can burn tonight, but it looks thund'rous over the mountains. Or maybe I just feel lazy. Deer stew on the stove, bubbling gently. Not a bad place to be, at the moment.
My band (the one with the two female singers) used to play this song.

I really am not up to talkin to myself, catch you guys in a day or two.
Was it somethin i didn't say Bobby?
Venison stew sounds pretty good right about now. Make sure to take pics if you light'm up Chip, for our inner pyro and all. ..
Yo Chris, glad to hear you back in the drink and in one piece.
"Venison" is part of an answer to a little boy...
Boy: "Mister.... What's that place where all the roads are made of water, and the cars look like boats?"
Man: "That's Venice, son."
Karla Bonoff...... Man...... I haven't heard of her since my sister graduated from High school and moved to Vermont in '76......
I have this dim memory of my sister going to a concert at the Pine Crest Country club with Karla Bonoff, Maria Muldaur, and Bonnie Raitt..... That was the tour where Bonnie recorded "Blender Blues" at Trod Nozzle studios I think......
I'm also thinking that my puter needs more than defragging.....

Carter has asked me to remind you all that Wednesday is "National wear your pajamas to work day"....
Glen, that does not mean that it's "Wear Amber's lace neglige to the PUB day".....

Hmmmm..... Chip...... Is that you?...... Oh.... No, my neighbors are having a bonfire on the edge of the area they just planted with Christmas trees...... They told me that they lost over half the trees they planted last year to drowning. And people thought that I was exaggerating about the rain here last year......![]()

I think B-Bum was looking into getting blown down there in Wichita.... Said something about weather forecasters named "Wendy Day", and "Gail Wynns".

I may actually get a little pub time in tomorrow,,, Carter's gonna be busy moving, and taking Aldo to the vets, and picking our friend Sammo, from Carriacou up at the train station......
Somehow I can see me getting roped into one of those chores on top of mine as well...... But if I'm clever......

Black cloud to the south, so I figured I'd better torch it off so it'd be done by the time the thunderstorm hit.
The wind did kick up toward the end, so I was chasin' sparks with the hose. But I'd soaked the grass down so nothing caught. There's another stack this size to burn. Then I have to decide whether to cut more. There's some old stuff that's 90% dead. Burns like black powder. I'll probably get that cut and leave the green bushes alone.
Brings back memories of working night crew on fires when it was chill, and taking a nap next to the burn.
Here's another musician named . . . Edwards. Kathleen Edwards.
