Busy! Work is keeping me jumping. I don't come here very often anymore, I don't like some of what I find here and I find it hard to ignore some of the garbage. But when I step inside the Pub it's always peaceful and friendly.
Where's that texan buddy of yours, I didn't see any posts from him for a while.
Lots of good music getting played.
I guess that chip fella is off with a bottle of irish whisky and his "Wolf Goddess" celebrating the Irish in us all!

A Texan that was Bad, who would've ever thought that could be possible? A long sentence or just a chance to sleep it off?

I'm sure that Chip is celebrating St paddy's, any man that collects Irish whisky must have a soul however deeply hidden! I saw those cowboy photos of his!

Gareth, I'm glad that the Welsh beat the French, can't have them winning the thing. I'm not a football fan but I had plenty to do with them while climbing. You're hiding out in some terrible place from what i remember, some place of great suffering and terrible burden to endure!

I think it is just a sleep off. Not everyone can get a cushy job Like Chip had, some folks have to suffer behind a desk.

BoT - Another Eric Bibb song. Is it a love song... or a gospel song? Either way you read it, it's sweet:

I guess we can start off with one o these dogfish head critters.

Leaving Ft.Myers behind, East on the Caloosahatchee river.

Ortona lock with an 8' rise in the river. The other two locks were only a couple of feet.

After 80 miles or so and 8 hrs we arrived here and stayed the night.

13' rise to St. Lucie river.

Saw this guy flyin along the St Lucie river just before we entered the Intracoastal waterway.

When opportunity knocks. Only downside (if there was one), it ain't a sailboat, or wooden boat. Ah well, beggars can't be choosers.

Bobby let me tell you son it was God's own drunk! I lapped up most of that expensive scotch, a bunch of beers then I went home and we had kind of a wake and a party - me and the missus; and was up till way too late drank'n some more. Listened to a bunch of good tunes and houled at the moon till way too late. It was God's own drunk I felt like a rock star or somethin. Curiously, I did not feel like that this morning. I hope Glen won't be too mad at me i see i racked up $479.85 on his tab. Plus a 2 hun tip for the gals
