Moning guys, coffee please. Dog kennels? phht... that's like having a clean workshop, too much organisation for me. It'd be a good plan to use them regularly though if you needed to take your mut on a plane lots or for police dogs and other working dogs. Other than that I'm in the free range camp x 3..

    How you doing Kev? Alright?

Coffee is great, a good nights sleep would be better. If you dog fans want to see intense, check out cat owners "discussing" wet vs dry food. Saw it for myself the other day, thought I'd have to drag 'em apart.

Roger with a tambourine, or maracas.... Sure..... But the guitar just doesn't look right....

When I think RD I think the movie Tommy. I wouldn't mind seeing that again one of these days. ..

Well the mystical white banket of the first snow in November is a distant memory. But today more of what I'll now refer to as white sh*t is falling. I'm sick and tired of it I had some decent firewood scopeed out in the woods and now you couldn't find a log on the ground to save your live. Its BS I tell ya, I feel like hopping on a plane and flying somewhere near the equator before I smack someone. The Sahara desert sounds good right about now. I'll have a double dark rum with a little hot water and butter. And a pina colada.

80° and sunny, no wind. John Deere and myself just got done mowing the lawn. A double something or other would be good. I really need to mow my poor old dyin neighbors lawn, but I am gonna have to rest a spell. Even that rider gets the best of me.

Tractors, It seems they just draw me in. Don't know what I would do with one, but I really want one bad. Man down the road from me has a 9n and the man across the street from him has an old model C International. Both for sale. I bet my Jeep would do the same thing that they do.

It is a 48 cj2 original motor and drive train. Runs and drives pretty good. I don't think I would want to go on along trip in it, but it works for beer runs and pulling my mower out of the ditch.

LOL. I've always wanted an old school jeep but up here they're either restored and buddy thinks they're worth their weight in gold, or a basket case; and buddy figures their worth half their weight in gold. Anyways hang on to it I might need a hand shortly. We just bought this place and its got a big lawn but the previous owner threw in a ride on lawn mower with the deal. Too cold to mow yet but I've moved it from A to B a couple times. Its a snapper with skid steer which is all Greek to me. Goes round and round in circles in one spot if you want it to, or sometimes when I don't want it to I can see hitt'n the ditch a time or two till I get used to it. ..

A riding mower's highest aspiration in life is to become a lawn tractor polo pony, and participate in the world championship games.....

PTOs are an amazing thing I wonder why they don't put them on some modern day pick'm up trucks and jeeps you can do tons with them. My Dad had a 62 international corn binder 4x4 with a PTO hooked up to a big ol winch on the front bumper. If you hooked to the top of a tree I swear that thing would pull its way right to the top.

Modern day pickups are for monthly dump runs, and picking up bags of mulch..... I hear some guys even buy chrome plated tool boxes for the beds, and line them with carpeting....
Modern day Jeeps are for college girls to drive to Dave Matthews concerts in, and get stuck in a half inch of mud or wet leaves...
My '53 M38a1 isn't much good on ice, but it's pretty much unstoppable otherwise.... It'll go up a tree in 4Wheel low..... Top speed is probably 50MPH down hill with a stiff tailwind, but that's pretty scary..... 35MPH is a nice speed...... 'specially with the windshield down..... It's like driving a big, 4 wheel drive skateboard.

Default Re: The PUB light's ON! :D

I would really like to get a set of original rims and tires for my jeep, but at $125.00 a rim I think I can live with the ones on it now. I think maybe old as in 70s ford truck rims would fit.
