I have no idea what you guys are talking about but I'm sure I wouldn't be offended.
Well its Miller time. Does anyone still drink Miller? Wasn't ever much of a fan but the comercials were funny. How about Raineer beer out of Washington state, another, well crappy beer but the comercials were good. A guy driving fast on a motorcycle through the mountains, deep throaty sound of the engine working through the gears with Raaaaaaaaaaaay- neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer - beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeer over dubed as he grabs 3rd, 4th, and 5th gear. Had no idea what that was supposed to tell me but it was kind of funny.
Think I'll go with an Okanagan Pale Ale. Not sure if they even have comercials. ..
Just for GP, many who are grandfathered in, on the AT&T unlimited plan, are winning thousands in small claims court- (@$35.00 filing fee)and getting it back with no slow downs, or canceling their contract with money back. Cheers!Between Google not responding, and Shockwave crashing and clogging up my system, and AT&T with their fast as molasses internet connection it's amazing I get anything at all done here.....

Where the heck is the Pub owner? SaltyD needs a beer and Skipper needs a shot of Tequila. If Allison is looking a drink for her, and Sophie.

Sorry, Man....... Been busy with puppy stuff, and trying to catch up on stuff that I let slide over the last year, and still trying to deal with stuff down at my father's house, and it is still winter yanno, even if the damned trees are pollinating all over your yard, around here it's mud city..... Almost the entire lawn has been killed by too much rain last year, so great patches of dead sod are being torn up every time Aldo races from point A to point B.....
On the plus side, the bread came out pretty good today.... Still not as un-brick like as I'm hoping for....
Beer, tequila, red wine, gin........ What am I missing?....... More beer!

I tried to convince a karaoke guy to play "Crazy" for me to sing..... He wouldn't do it. Said it was supposed to be sung by a woman, and that I wouldn't be able to stay in key (Like anyone who sings karaoke can stay in key...... Hell..... Most people singing karaoke sing in the key of "Z"....)..... Well he was right. But I think I was just as good as Bob Dylan woulda been..... I like Willie's original version better than Pasty's.

I'd play it but Carter's pretending to be asleep right here, and if she goes from pretending she's asleep to pretending that she's awake, then she won't be pretending that she's mad.....![]()

See if I can hold onto a connection long enough to post something here....
Wednesday morning in all it's frozen glory.
We have to make some decisions here now..... Concerning the interior decorating scheme in here..... Do we keep the faux Tiffany lamps and the faded red crushed velvet wing back chairs and sofa by the coal fireplace..... Or replace them with more of the oxblood leather set like we have by the wood stove in the games room?...... Or we can get rid of all that stuff, and replace it all with Mid-century modern stuff..... I like Saarinen, Aalto, and Eames myself..... With some nice Noguchi lamps..... But that doesn't really sing "PUB" to me..... The black goat wool flocati rug that goes with the modern look might be nice for lolling on with a bloody Mary on Sunday mornings though...... But the Sumak Persian is nice too......
Let's just think on it.....

I'm a lil' cranky this morning.
We have excellent shepherd's pie made with both ground lamb, and ground beef.... It's good. You'll like it.
Hot tomato soup with open faced cheese sandwiches.
Braised Brattwurst, in sauerkraut, with hand cut fries, and a small house salad.
Fresh fettuccine Alfredo, served with fresh garlic bread and a crisp baby field greens salad.
And for Doug....... Prince Spaghetti, with jar sauce.
Special on tap: Black Dog Ale.

In terms of 'decorating' - I prefer an eclectic approach. Mix in some Mies van de Rohe with some Greene & Greene. Leaning toward the uphostered, light on the Shaker. I can skip the Early American and the Provincial. Beer for me, please.

Ludwig Mies Van de Rohe?.... How about we get some Le Corbusier tables to go with that?...... I like the elliptical Rosewood base tables with the thick glass tops..... But they're pure hell to move.....

I Think you may need one of my pills, mellow you right out. As far as decorating, don't forget this here wild boar head. It needs to be where everyone can see it.![]()

Cheers Bobby. The weather is pretty low key Glen, today and was yesterday as well. A little frost first thing in the morning then up to maybe 40F, it was right calm yesterday and NW 10 or 15 knots right now I'd say; high overcast. Tomorrow we will blessed with more the seasonal norm, 40 to 50 knot southeaster. Not much rain with it though they say, just showers.
What about the western crossroads saloon look?
Here's some beaut Norwegian-style log work, 80 years old and no rot whatsoever. The logs are spoon-adzed and need no chinking.
Here's the dancehall, with the floor mounted on springs from railway coaches (bar out of sight left).
More fine log-work: look at those roof trusses.
And here's the loo:
