    Default Brilliant!

Bush said today in a joint news conference with Tony Blair that a cease fire would not help Lebanese citizens.

Bombing will continue until life improves?

not for 6 or 10 years depending on how bad the next Democrat screws up
The doctrine of nonresistance against arbitrary power, and oppression, is absurd, slavish, and destructive of the good and happiness of mankind.
Personal failures are too important to be trusted to others.

Can you imagine the demand for Bush as an "elder statesman" to be sent as a diplomatic representative to foreign crises?

I expect his future is one of endless rubber chicken dinners at Baptist conventions...

Dan, I think you've got it. His next Photo Op should have him working with the troops as a honey wagon technician, he may find it more suited to his personal situation.

CYA Statement:Please understand that this is not meant as an insult to the many fine and upstanding honey wagon technicians in the US military or in civilian life.

s/v, if you get the chance see the documentary War Tapes, there's a great scene where the soldier is narrating the security detail following the sewage truck out of the base and watching over it while it discharges into a ditch near a highway. If he can joke about it I think you can.
