Thumbs up I'm now an uncle

My brother's wife gave birth to Emilie onthe 7th at 1123. She has a full head of hair and is cute as a button. Problem is that she looks like My borther, poor girl. LOL I was at sea so I missed the big day but I have seen her just about every day since I got back. Now if only my wife would come home from sea maybe we could have a baby too.....

I was thinking the expectant father's cradle book but my old man wants to do that. I'll probably use the endmost station molds from my redbird to build a mini canoe for her once I have the hull off the mold. Of course that means putting the hull on the molf first. I also have to bead and cove the planks that I ripped yesterday and do a hundred other things before I can get to it but I will most likely build her her first boat. We'll see how mine turns out first. I have yet to build a boat. Done enough dreaming about it to last a few lifetimes though.

“Property is the fruit of labor…property is desirable…is a positive good in the world. That some should be rich shows that others may become rich, and hence is just encouragement to industry and enterprise. Let not him who is houseless pull down the house of another; but let him labor diligently and build one for himself, thus by example assuring that his own shall be safe from violence when built.” Abraham Lincoln
