For those of you interested in keeping an old troller alive, I posted my project a few months ago. Several people asked that I post an update as the project continues. Well, she looks more like a boat and, less like a floating pile of wood. So, I thought it about time for that update. Here she is, the Pacific Glider (SWMBO calls her Fishy):

    Thanks for the interest,

Geat progress on a great project! I always like to see it when working boats are brought back to life.

Here in South Carolina the shrimp boat industry went through the same thing. I know of several people who did conversions. Yours is a much sleeker and beautiful boat.
    Good luck and fair winds.

    Terry,

What dock are you on? My workplace is just a little farther south so I'd love to stop by and take a look sometime. Is there going to be a point where you're more yacht than fish boat and get booted out of Fishermans Terminal? Of course, the way the Port is behaving, this issue will probably be moot in a short time. Great work!
