Default Online sources of marine plywood / Seattle area

Anybody know of a decent online/mailorder source of marine ply in the Seattle or PNW area? My local supplier just went under, and the other vendors in the area don't get much more "nautical" than 3/8" AC.

    Default Here's some resources

    Edensaw, http://www.edensaw.com is good.

West Wind Hardwood, up in BC, http://www.westwindhardwood.com/ is also good.

Crosscut Hardwood, http://www.emersonhardwood.com/, stocks marine ply as well:

    Crosscut Hardwood
    4100 1st Avenue South
    Seattle, WA
    206/623-0334
    800/756-0334

Crosscut parent company is Emerson Hardwoods, and there are Crosscut stores in both Portland, OR and Eugene, OR.

If you want local, this place is even open on Sundays:

    Home Builders' Center
    1110 W Nickerson
    Seattle, WA 98119
    (206) 283-6060

also stocks marine ply and good boat lumber. They're right near the Ballard Bridge and the shipyards nearby make it useful for them to stock the stuff. They're and Ace Hardware store as well.

Compton Lumber,http://www.comptonlbr.com/, (across the street from Crosscut Hardwood, above) also carries marine ply as well as other hardwoods and boat lumber...don't know if they carry stuff other than douglas fir marine ply, though.

You might also check out Olson Lumber:

    Olson Lumber
    9300 Aurora N
    Seattle, Washington 98103
    (206) 523-7777

Olson is now owned by Dunn Lumber, but Mr. Olson will be hanging on for a few years. Some of Olson's specialities are bending (green) white oak and big -- try 8x16 -- FOHC (free of heart center) douglas fir timbers. Here's the Dunn Lumber page for some of the stuff at the Olson yard: http://store.dunnlum.com/builderwire...categoryid=587

    Hope this helps!

    Nicholas, you got 'em all!

And, it pays to shop them depending on what you're looking for.....
At the moment, Edensaw has the best selection of Honduras if that matters.....

Home Builder's is very handy and friendly to lakeside business....

Edensaw usually has the best selection of plywoods
