    Default Santos Mahogany ?

    Has anyone heard of or used this material forhull planking? I'm trying to narrow down thelist and this came up.

    Very hard. Very heavy. Very stiff.

    Minesweeper planking, maybe. Otherwise stairtreads and thresholds.

    A legume....a pioneer tree akin to Black Locust.....only harder, heavier and stiffer. As heavy as Live Oak.
