Only problem I see is the proper lookout that you are required to maintain at all times. Might be a way to improve this by moving the steerage to the upper deck as they did in the middle age.

Apart from that - highly cool (although not for me ...).

Nevertheless I have my doubts that the cabin walls were reinforced sufficiently to accept solid water ... .

How much ballast does this design carry? Is the ballast internal or external? I can see that it will go downwind well, but how about close hauled and tacking? Seems to be designed for following the tradewinds. First guy who takes one of these new designs accross the Atlantic will get a bottle of Jever, Astra, Becks or Flensburger from me.

It doesn't look correct aerodynamically to me.

Surely the fattest part of the foil should lead and the taper should be aft.

When I was in Miami in 1987 there were a bunch of similar craft mored off Dinner Key near Coconut Grove; one had an Airstream atop a raft made of cast off styrofoam and beer kegs. Ever hear of Captain Nutrino? There was a recent New Yorker article about him.
