    Man oh man......
    Back in the good old days......the most you could hope for in half way decent fare wuz butter and cheese in tins from New Zeland, Beef from argentina and little else that tasted like food..
    Now you can get excellent crab, LOBSTER, and other shellfish from Nova Scotia canneries, Conch which makes damn good conch fritters and tons of other stuff..and other things that's better than cheap rum and tang....makes one wonder why they need refrigeration..........OH...to cool the after the yardarm stuff...sorry.....

    We bought little tins of lobster meat direct from the cannery in New Brunswick in 1966.

    No Bud...I visited Cape May New Jersey last week and checked out the big seafood shoppe on the wharf...........and it was good!

    heck...I think it's Fishermans Wharf.....just before you cross the little bridge into Cape May proper...it's on the left...
