Seriously, much as I'd love to buy her I probably won't, so I'll pass along the fact that the boat's name is "Whi-fus," and she's been for sale for quite some time through Cannell, Payne, and Page in Maine.

Before she was donated to charity, the asking price was $20,000. Minimum bid for the eBay auction is $17,500.

Incidentally, if she was built in 1920 she can't be hull number 9, as the seller says. I'm looking at a reprint of the Herreshoff construction records (in the back of the Guide to the Haffenreffer-Herreshoff Collection) and the first order for the "Buzzards Bay Class" in 1914 was for a group of 20 boats.
