    Whooo...must have been some westerly that caused the Carlisle Castle to hit the bricks some 50km inland of Cape Leuwin in 1899...or maybe it was the same king tide that swept the trees off the Nullabor

    Hmmmm, they must still be working on the database.

    They list 4 (count 'em, four) shipwrecks in Lake Superior. Although, no one knows the true number, a bit over 2,000 is probably close. Several hundred are fairly well documented, at least by ship name & date.
