Yes. Friend has the contract to ship fuel out to Sealand; nice regular work but not a full time job; he does dredging the rest of the time.
Did I read that Sealand is now hosting some kind of high-tech offshore computer data storage firm now?

Yes.
The sea forts also featured in an episode of the 1960's TV program "Danger Man" (broadcast as "Secret Agent" in the US). IIRC, that particular program is "Not So Jolly Roger". It may be available from Net Flicks and is pretty good.
