    Those would be At-Ats. I'm sure you could trip one by sailing circles around it while dragging your anchor.

    Yes. Friend has the contract to ship fuel out to Sealand; nice regular work but not a full time job; he does dredging the rest of the time.

    The sea forts also featured in an episode of the 1960's TV program "Danger Man" (broadcast as "Secret Agent" in the US). IIRC, that particular program is "Not So Jolly Roger". It may be available from Net Flicks and is pretty good.
