My uncle Joe Meyers used to own of these sweet little cruisers in Cincinnati in the mid 1950's, and it was the first power boat I ever drove at the ripe age of 4. It was later sold in the 60's, and supposedly had some dry rot. I have a picture of it, but no way to scan or post it at the moment, but it shows the Ohio registration number. My question: anybody out there know anything about it, or where I might find one? I know it's a stretch, but thought I'd give it a shot.

We'd need more detail than you've given, and probably a picture. You might try contacting The Mariner's Museum in Hampton, VA. They've got alot of old Chris Craft materials from that era, and might be able to give you more details based on the picture.

I'm trying to run down information about a Huckins my grandfather owned in the 1940s, and I don't even have a picture, so I sympathize. Good luck.
