yup...if'n ya keep it under 16 feetz.....
Looks good, but - what sort of wind strength does it have to withstand? If I imagine a massive storm blowing right onto the open side ... Or are both sides open? That would help.
If it has been around for say 20 years like it is now without showing any damage or signs of fatigue, it should be fine.

I suppose it'll do.![]()
Thats a 5 year old little fella standing there isn't it. LOL.
That thing will never stand up under a snow load!![]()
You are having entirely too much fun! That'd be a Quonset hut up in these parts, thanx to the construction batallion, or CB's. It'll do yer fine!![]()
Maaate
Just roll it over, pull the ends together, stitch her up with a bit of fencing wire and you've got yourself an adult sized corrugated iron canoe - just like we had as kids, just a bit bigger.

Chuck! 16ft?? whatsabloke todowith the other flamin 70 odd foot of usable space?? mmmm???
Ian mmmaaaaaaaaaate! It aint corrigated iron ol son its a real thick type of covering... outside is that shiney stuff like they have on outsides of sleeping bags and tents? inside is black... on a bright sunny day you can stand in there and look directly at the sun and see just a faint pale light nothing more... raining now here and the thing is as dry as where Im sitting inside the house
Henning its been onsite for 8 years... open both ends... seems to be standing up to the elements really well... a couple of small tears on the sides where the bloke we bought the place from accidently touched it up with his bobcatbut otherwise no nothing

John yer one eyed kiwi git!

That's a great building, is power installed or do you have to do that?
you will need protected storage for properly stickered wood....depending on size of boat you will need provisions to drag the strongback outta the barn to roll her over, clean dry safe storage fer toolz and a separate place to work on possumpoops projectz 'cause if she ain't happy the boat will be a loooong time coming...get organized.......
have you decided whatcher gonna build?

stilleto Im yet to get power out there... present thinking is to get a relocated house attached by breezeway to the main house then the shed then power all three
This is the shed were looking at... 7mtrs x 14mtrs x 4.5mtrs with the attached area to the left of the pic adding another 3mtrs to the width... this area when complete will be the varnishing area.
The shed and relocated house will take around 4 - 6 weeks for shire council approval after which time they will go ahead {we trust!}... till then were fixing the house and buying much needed tools and stuff for yours truely and household things for her highness along with the hoonberrys new clobber and stuff... strict budgets for all.
Chuck... the main thing there is the mention of the tools... presently they reside quietly in the ctainer and will stay so till the new shed is up... as for boat choice well let us just say that a "Susan" is looking very likely although Im presently talking with Derek Ellard of Scruffie Marine about his lengthening of the Secret design of which Id been told about hes working on a 26ft version and a 37ft version hes coming along well with both so shouldnt be too far of completed plans by the time I have the shed power tools timber etc in place![]()

Her highness has a list as long as your arm from the toes to the fingertips so I doubt I will ever get it completely finished... flamin sheila keeps adding to the bludy thing! But she knows shes catered to and her list is accepted as long as mine is as well fair and equal time to both has been agreed

Oh my gosh, Shane. Now you've got a guy from Chesapeake Beach, Maryland sounding like a dust bunny from the West 'strine desert! I grovel to your greatness!
lol
Mickey Lake
Shane
We'd call the round one,a tarp barn.
They manage snow 'n blow very well and are relatively cheap.
Are you saying that you'd attach the relocated house to the barn and the main house?
Why?
You could lose the whole mess if one of the buildings took fire.
