It's come up a bit in different threads but deserves it's own. A "toadstool" design I believe.

Built circa 1984 . We bought Waione in 83 so I recall the boat appearing new with great interest.

She's beautiful on the water and goes like a dream.

Just how "wee" is it? I guess that's a relative term!

Yes, it is a looker! I like the companionway off to one side, with the port on the other. There's one a few slips down from me with the same arrangement, with stained glass- looks sharp. Is this one the same?

I wish that babe in ImageStation would hurry up and take her dang picture and get out of our faces!

Um, isn't the steering wheel mounted facing backwards on Jersey Lily?

Truly a beautiful boat, truth be told.

A lot of the Aldens are set up that way with the steering too Norm.
I'm not sure of her size .. 26... 28 ft? plus all that bowsprit and bumkin/davit arrangement. That's a 14 metre marina she's in because she presumably won't fit in a 12 m.

This is the ebay link Holzbt kindly put up in another thread

Yep, Garden Toadstool built by Robin Harris , goes ok but as the owner of Waione you would appreciate what I mean when I say that she makes you realise why cutter or sloop rig was the preferred rig for Aucland.

I hope I can be forgiven this; I have no interest.

35' William Garden Ketch
Description
35' OD 11' Beam, 4.108 Perkins, 2" thick ceder planking on Oak frames.

She is for sale, laying in the SF bay area. I have contact info for anyone who will drop me an email. I don't know the owner nor the condition, but do know there are Garden lovers here

Nice boat for sure but I'm not so keen on the dinghy davits. Probably spoils the sheer/profile. But still a nice one! Our helm is likewise raked aft...very trad.
