Austin TX Town Lake Messabout March 20

To celebrate the currently-anticipated completion of my Wee Rob canoe, I'm planning an informal gathering for the afternoon of Saturday March 20 at the FESTIVAL BEACH ramp east of IH 35 on the north side of Town Lake, weather permitting (no rain means we paddle). Bring a lunch and a boat, and maybe we can all go out for Bar B Que afterwards. Likely there will only be a few of us there, but that's OK. I'll be there regardless around noon. (See what happens when my wife goes out of town!!)

Steve........Congratulations on your launch. [img]smile.gif[/img] Wish I could be there. My brother use to live in Austin and I have visited. A wonderful city, rich in great music. If you can get the local band "Cracker" to play at your launch I'll buy a plane ticket.

You can count me in. Town Lake isn't much of a sailing lake but I can bring along my little catboat anyway. It never hurts to have more boats around [img]smile.gif[/img]
