Had it righted by 10:00 AM, pumped out by 10:30, engine pumped out and carbs cleaned by 11:00 and running for 4 hours at 3:00 PM. It was one hellofa Father's Day. Where did you hear about this?

If you can't get her completely dried inside soon enough, a wipedown with a very mild solution of bleach and water (wear a respirator) will go a long ways towards avoiding mold and mildew.

Good luck with her. Sounds like all's under control.

LOL I just saw it down in the bilge.

I'm pretty sure that I only lost the VHF. I know we have high humidity down here but I dont think below the surface is covered under weather proof.

    This is it.

Mine has the grab rail around the console.

Donn, I think the hand of man comes into play somewhere in this because it was turned turtle. I hope I don't ever find out who and then run into them.

Like I said, I think the only casulty(sp?) was the VHF. Hopefully I'll be able to get some more hours on the engine this afternoon. But it doesn't look much like the weather is gonna play nice. Oh well. That means I get to work on the inside of the trawler.

That's a shrimp boat? Somehow I thought they were..... Bigger..... Perhaps those are "Jumbo shrimp" boats.
Someone got at my boat the other day too... Not as bad as you got, but still enough to really make me mad.
Glad your's is doing OK, you don't really need the VHF anyway!
