    Question

How far have you got, when you've just turned the hull on a runabout?
I mean, to me never having built a boat before it seems like most of the real hard work is out of the way?
But then, Im told that the hull is only 10% of the job, can this be right.
You guys out there whom have already been through the whole prosess, must be able to hazzard a guess.

On a wooden boat, when you are out on the bay on a beautiful spring morning, the wind blowing through your hair and the smell of the salt air in your nostrils.... on your boat's maiden voyage....

    You're about half done

Ten percent is a little low but half? Don't get discouraged Grasshopper. Attach one piece at a time, a little every day or so, and you'll finish. Proudly!

Well, when I did mine, I found that work slowed to a crawl because the rest was so time-consuming and meticulous. I'd saw work-wise, 50%, time-wise, 25% or so.

Uglier than fresh road kill. Evil-eyed, cantankerous, sullen, mean. An anti-social misfit that causes a groundswell of spleen wherever he goes."
