The earlier edition was a foundation of modern boat construction.
What are the upgrades in the new one?

I think the advertisment for this book on the Gougeon site says something like 20% or more new information. I plan on buying this book in the near future as my present copy is the red cover and one of the older versions.

It's probably added from questions answered here on WBF. I think the combined experience/experiences posted here are more in depth and perpetual than any book.

Some of the opinions expressed here are great, some are not. A book like the Gougeon Bros one will have all the contents very carefully verified and will be an authoritative and reliable source. While this forum is very much one of the better ones, it pays to think about some of the things that are said here. Including what I might say.

I agree, you can bet West Systems has tested everything in their book and they probably base comments on many many cases of a specific use and result.
