That sign was seen in a Bar called "Mrs P's". I was at a convention in Atlanta 15 years ago. A few of us were about 3 sheets to wind when the hotel bar closed at 2 am. Not wanting to end a good drunkathon we hailed a taxi and told him to find us a all night bar. Atlanta had a 3 or 4 am blue law for alcohol,so a few bars were *private clubs* that sold memberships at the door for 5 bucks. You could legally drink till noon the next day or till you keeled over which ever came first. Most of these clubs catered to the alternative lifstyle.
The place was quite a menagery, Rednecks, conventioneers, draq queens and bull dykes all pissed up drunk in the same bar. Reminded me of the bar scene from Star Wars.

There's quite a good Strine dictionary at --

And as a bonus, they've got the words to our National Anthem there too.
