Just a dustin' here in Bangor too, though it's supposed to go in the teens (F) tonight. Brr.

I heard there were five or six inches down Scott's way. Winter, ain't it grand!

I figure we got 6 inches or so. Its already melting away on the roof and the gravel driveway. The Dogs had a blast - there just like kids when you let them out in the snow bounding all over and eating it. Tess and I made a Snowman but it just toppled over

I had about 3 inches on my car this morning, but only about half that stuck on the ground. Snow-covered tree limbs were beautiful on the drive to work this morning.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Hey Brian,

Where north of Boston do you live? I lived in Wakefield for a little while. I loved it for the 6 months I was there. Went through a whole winter that they kept telling me was mild. Being from southern California I thought, "If this is mild, I don't want to see a bad one." I'd never had to scrape or shovel white stuff before. I really loved waking up in the morning to see everything covered in white. I do miss it.

It's in the low 70's here today. Last week was low 80's. I wouldn't mind a little snow here, it's just that nobody would have a clue what to do. Everything would shut down.

Yep...we had about 2 inches down when I left for work this morning, and we look to get another two. I sense a snowman in the immediate future. Ethan will be thrilled.

Here in the southwest corner of the state, we only got about 3", and most of that is gone already. It was lovely this morning though!

Wilmington.

Not to far from Wakefield.
Not a bad storm, I went through the blizzard of 1978 3ft with 6ft drifts!

But that's hardly the norm.
I'm lived in Detroit, but we had "mild winters" when I was there. I also lived in Dallas, where it did snow! 1inch shut the whole city down! LOL

Joe, I've suntanned in worse. Nice pic. No snow on the ground here. Rocky mountains are a few miles west. I heard they've got 3 or 4 feet.

We lived in Andover, Massachusetts, 25 miles north of Boston for 34 years. The most snow we had on the ground at one time was 50 inches on the level.

When we moved here I brought along my snowshoes and hung them on the wall to remind myself that our last year there I needed them to go to the bird feeder.

Still no snow here. In fact I just cut the grass in the front yard and blew leaves in the back yard. Once I blew the leaves in the back yard I found more grass that needs cutting. Still got a bunch of leaves to blow and half of 'em are still on the trees.

Chad,

Are they talking ice storm for Chattanooga tomorrow like they're talking about it around here? Some parts of N. Georgia may get up to 2" of ice according to some forecasters. That would be bad, very bad.

I'm planning on going home this afternoon to move my boat out from under any trees!
