I do decorative concrete work and I'm looking for a simple cad program that I can import a picture into, select the area for the patio or sidewalk, then fill in this area with the proposed type of decorative concrete so the customer can see what the finished job will look like.

    Hi,
We,ve been doing that type of thing for landscape design. We take a panorama of a house and yard, then (using a photo library built up over the years) conposit a design so the customer can see the proposed idea. When we started, their were no cad programs available for Mac's, so we have been using Photoshop which works on either platform. I know there are some pc programs that do that sort of thing, but I don't remember the names. Try searching on google for landscape design programs, most of them have the ability to do hardscapes.

    Good Luck,
    Greg H.
