    Wow!
    I used to live just south of Santa Maria and North of Lompoc on Vandenberg AFB. I'd like to see the seas at Pt. Conception.
    Ya know......we lived there for three years and never got over knee deep in the ocean.......that was way before I fell in love with wood boats and got my first sailing experience.

    Funny you should say that,Dave, Mavericks was awesome this morning at high tide[actually,a bit after slack} Mr. Dog and I went as we had to do lawyer chores, and the powers been out. 4 boats sunk within sight of me in slip, 5 on rocks in tiberon.....14 inches at my boat since sat a.m....big waves!!!! mebbee 60 or better
