really rough, but pretty good, considerin'. changed alla the dressings this a.m. where he went back into elbow/forearm to remove defective sutures and scarring,it was a bit worse than expected. got a bit of a leaker there, but am optomistic. shoulder recovery looks good. labrum edge of shoulder was completely torn off, along with quads,so no possible chance of healing w/o repair. used itty-bitty wedge anchors drilled in shoulder socket to lace labrum that looked like tiny harpoons!shoulder was so impinged that even when under general anesthetic, they couldn't raise the arm. rip snap pop! cut out scarring ,reattach everything, and clean everywhere out.will try and scan a couple o' shots later.

    Ouch Yipe Eech!
Reading how you describe the Ortho's work reminds me of a program on the TV, The Operation.
One show had an Ortho rebuilding both knees of a fairly young woman. He used all sorts of jigs and some exotic battery powered tools for drilling and attaching bits and pieces. He remarked that he felt akin to a good woodworker using all those tools and jigs.

Hey Orca, try and take it easy for a change! We were out in Sausalito in early September. Nice town if you have a loose million to spare. Would have looked you up but I didn't know you lived there and anyway, I hate hospitals which is where I probably would have had to visit you. Ya folla?

Ouch Gary. That must hurt like hell. I'll bet it's even more than a dull roar through whatever pills they've got you on.

    Heal well and fast.

Next scheduled visit is in May 2003. I sure hope you are beyond 60% bye that time and the super workout machine is worn out.
