    Hey... my Oregon Ducks won the Very First NCAA basketball tournament. The 'Tall Firs' included 2 guys from my hometown. 1939... and we're STILL resting on our laurels. <G>

    This? I have rested on a few of these trees also. Description California Bay Laurel is best known as a native tree which grows along the Pacific Ocean from southwest Oregon, south along the Coast Range, and into the Sierra Nevada mountains. In southwest Oregon it is called Oregon Myrtle and is prized for its hard wood used for wood working.

    I went to a HS in Baltimore and Babe Ruth played for our arch rivals.

    We have a record, of sorts, for a very one-sided game...

    I get it. My boat raced Dorade in the early 60's Swiftsure. How cool is that?

    I once stole the ball from Bob Mcadoo's brother in a HS basketball game, and passed it to a team member who made a basket. I think we only lost that game by double digits..... 1978 I think.... Maybe 1979. By double digits I mean like we had 8 and they had 98.... We weren't very good.... But I did steal the ball from McAdoo's brother!
