“Come, come, my conservative friend, wipe the dew off your spectacles and see the world is moving" - Elizabeth Cady Stanton
I do not recall ever seeing one. Maybe a B&W something years ago? Certainly nothing memorable.
But then I'm not a spectator, and certainly never a fan of sports anyhow.
Maybe a documentary?
Actually I have seen that one about a bloke who built a baseball field…...
There is no rational, logical, or physical description of how free will could exist. It therefore makes no sense to praise or condemn anyone on the grounds they are a free willed self that made one choice but could have chosen something else. There is no evidence that such a situation is possible in our Universe. Demonstrate otherwise and I will be thrilled.

I know it was dorky, but I liked "WIND".
“Yer killing me, Smalls!”

A great story about the triumph of New Thinking over The Way We Have Always Done It.
Excellent performances by Pitt, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, a young Jonah Hill.

There are two kinds of boaters: those who have run aground, and those who lie about it.

One day into the MLB season and thoughts turn to: The Natural, Bull Durham, The Bad New Bears, and A League of Their Own.
The Legend of Bagger Vance, Slap Shot, Rudy, Caddyshack, Invincible, and Victory are all good ways to while away a rainy weekend afternoon.
Prefontaine and Without Limits were both good. Cinderella Story certainly captured the "mood" of the period it was trying to depict.
As a former rugby player, Invictus will always be a favorite too.

Talk about forgetting the obvious, Chariots of Fire. And slightly less obvious, Endless Summer, Big Wednesday, and Step Into Liquid.

When it comes to Wind, how can anyone argue with a cute girl, who's a good tactician, doesn't mind cooking for the crew, hauls boats in her way-cool pick-up truck, sews sails, and oh yeah,...doesn't mind making it in the sail locker? Practically the perfect woman!

Rocky. Cinderella Man.

Hoosiers was one of my dad's favorite films. It's good.

I'd agree with 'Endless Summer'. A sentimental fave for me.
