    Default Superyachts Redux

And only $45,000,000 (and built as a crabber, prolly for the Bering Sea fishery, from the looks of her.)

Inside Richard Kayne's Extraordinary $45,000,000 SuRi Yacht

SURI yacht is a beautiful 63-meter (208 ft) yacht built by Halter Marine in 1978 and refitted in 2007 and again in 2012.

Her owner is the investor and billionaire Richard Kayne, who makes SURI available as a charter yacht for a price of US $350,000 per week in both the high and low seasons.

She is an expedition yacht suitable for cold climates and adventurous journeys, known for her wide selection of toys and equipment.

The interior of the SURI yacht was styled by Jeffrey Botwin, and her exterior is the work of Joseph Artese Design.

    . . .

She can welcome twelve guests in seven luxurious cabins, which include a spacious master, four VIPs, one double, and one twin cabin.

All cabins are airy and bright, with light furnishings and ample space for luggage and storage. A lot of rooms aboard the yacht feature window seats, which provide comfortable seating and a fantastic place to sit while SURI is underway.

Seventeen crew members find space on board and are available to tend to charter guests while they enjoy themselves aboard SURI.

The facilities on board the yacht include a spa, gym, yoga room, and on-deck jacuzzi, although there is no pool. There is also a state-of-the-art movie room with an updated entertainment system.

Arguably the most interesting feature is a glass-bottom media room where guests can see the magnificent underwater world without having to leave the comfort of the yacht.

This is especially popular in colder climates when snorkeling or scuba diving might not be possible.

To enhance the experience further, SURI possesses a so-called feeding tube that allows fish food to be transported below the yacht, so there is always something to see underwater, even on quiet days.

Lotta supermodels and old men use the “water feature” in the northern lats?

I'll take the classic runabout and the gaff sloop.
I'd give away the airplane and plastic kayaks and deep-six everything else.
I was born on a wooden boat that I built myself.

spa, gym, yoga room, and on-deck jacuzzi, ... state-of-the-art movie room with an updated entertainment system
Because just being on a boat at sea with all those toys tied up around it is not entertaining enough?

I’d get rid of most of the toys, put the useful boats on the helicopter deck and turn the back deck and hanger area into a theater space.

Wouldn’t a state of the art machine shop be more fun?

What’s with the giant vacuum cleaner hanging over the side.

It'snot a yacht. It's a nearly boat-looking artificial island. If only they'd set sail for a three hour cruise. A three hour cruise. With Maryann and Ginger.

That would be the inflatable slide:

Not to be confused with the inflatable floating swimming pool (?!) [The rationale for a floating inflatable swimming pool when you are surrounded by the briny deep is unclear to me.]

neither of which should confused with the inflatable climbing wall

Why doesn't that appeal to me? I mean, it has every toy you could want, and still I don't think I'd get it if I had the money.

On a 200 foot boat, the ATVs come in handy for getting around.

I’m imagining all that inflatable carp at the dump. About to do a dump run myself.

My wife was awarded a deluxe free 5 star luxury cruise for 2 to use in the next 6 months anywhere (likely a Venice to .. where ever) including airfare after her nomination. My summer plans got complicated.

Oh yeah they will! They also have a stern that opens up and small sailing dinghys are there as well as a powerboat, paddle boats and SUPs as well as a huge raft for sunbathing. Drink service is provided to the raft.
