Perhaps it stems from when someone else took over the nominations when my name for BROTM was put forward and they did an end run around your traditional role of putting forth the nominations OP. As far as I know, I only have friends here and I don’t dislike anyone here. We’re all different and that’s the way it should be. I like people and don’t have grudges or ill feelings towards anyone.

Spin is originally from Finland, IIRC. Perhaps their reputed custom of speaking very directly crept into her post, and you took her post as curt because of that? Weren't it someone on, maybe, the Ukraine thread that put that notion forward recently,
