    Default Something to ponder

Labrador and Newfoundland have their own dogs.
Guernsey and Jersey have their own cows

My locale boasts the name of a Japanese Pickup truck. I'd rather have a dog.

I'll 'second' Steve's post # 3 - My 2004 Tacoma short cab / short bed 4 cylinder / 4WD auto trans was a great truck . I had bed liner sprayed into the pickup bed after purchase, and carried 5 80 lb sand tubes during the winter. It was unstoppable ! ! !

I grew up there in the '60s when Tacoma Aroma would pickle your nose.

My daughter in preschool drew some pictures and dictated to the teacher what to write by each figure. By one stick drawing, there were the words "This is Auntie Ann she is in a coma.."

When we picked up my kid, we told the teacher "Um no, Auntie Ann lives in Tacoma"

Taco-Ma has been the name of a Taco Bell Franchise for a long time, the company does not use a hyphen. Over the years I have just been calling Tacoma, taco-ma just because.

Had sticker on my motorcycle: The best girls are from Tacoma. Wife 1 was from Tacoma. Peeled it off after the divorce...

Tacoma does have one of the coolest high schools around:
