    Few things as expensive as a "Free" boat.

    Smart move on their part, I'd say. For the price of replacing that engine they could buy a complete boat, ready to sail.

    We got a free boat last Spring and all is good so far. We had a full summer sailing, winter storage was about a thousand dollars. That’s haul, powerwash, store and relaunch. We learned a lot about small outboards. Looking forward to relaunch in a couple of months.
