Clown COre. It’s a band. If you get really bored, go give them a listen. It’s super weird, interesting music the Boys and I enjoy.

Man, I just found out about Cake in the past year. Based on the video (and music) of them driving around in the little van with the drumset in the back seat and the sax/keyboard player in the front, Clown COre seems poised to push my personal weirdness boundaries beyond what might be sustainable just now.

My pace in understanding new (to me) music is too slow to keep up with them aesthetically. Or maybe I'm just afraid that if I listen to too much more of them, I'll start to really dig it.

Edit to add: Occasionally the sax clown shows signs of some real chops. Along with lots of rubber horn-beeping silliness.

Oh, they’re almost pure inanity. We crank it up on the big stereo and giggle like small children.

Definitely not the weirdest music we listen to. That would be a now-defunct band called AC or Wesley Willis. Probably.

I actually imagine quite a few here would enjoy Alestorm, though. They’re legit pretty good.
