How does one keep the panel dry if it’s in the cockpit? That’s a bigger problem.
FWIW, Bruce--my boat lives in saltwater uncovered and the engine controls, ignition switch and accessory switches are all exposed to the weather 24-7. They seem to do just fine, year, after year, after year.
